Glacier Ski Club

NEW. From the 2017/2018 season, training is extended to 5 hours daily, between 9:30 - 3:30 with a one hour lunch break.
NEW! Competitive training group for U14-16, for Ontario Cup, see details below !

The season runs nine consecutive weeks on Saturday and Sunday, usually starting first weekend in January. There is also an option for a single day of training for the small age groups: U8 and U10. Within these nine weeks, there are usually five races and a fun race with the remaining days set aside for training.

The season starts with one or two Pre-season Camps and a Christmas Camp (highly recommended) where new racers learn the racing techniques and the returning racers get a chance to build on last seasons successes.

Training days start at 9:30am and consist of five hours of coaching with a one hour lunch break. Videotaping and reviews provide athletes and coaches with a great learning tool.
